Wong He: My Take and Article |
----------------------Part 1---------------Article----------------------- http://jaynestars.com/
Liking or disliking Wong He is a fine line.
Several years ago, some people disliked Wong He and found him insufferably arrogant. But the reporter found that Wong's personality is straightforward and full of character.
Wong has been busy lately filming for "CIB Investigation Files" with Maggie Siu Mei Kei, Bowie Lam, and Christine Ng Wing Mei.
In TV series, Wong often appears as firefighter or police characters, but in real life, he enjoys running and playing volleyball. Also Wong loves diamonds more than women do.
Many men wish to train for a muscular body. Although Wong is not considered overly built, his muscles are very toned. Wong definitely appears to be an extremely fit athlete.
Wong admitted that he likes to go running with his shirt off at night. When he has time, he will met up with several friends to play a game of volleyball. Over a length of time, Wong has emerged with a fit body. Wong joked that their volleyball team always loses in the games.
Also this past January, Wong He just ran in a HK marathon, the Reebok 15 Kilometer Challenge. Although Wong's crossed the finish line with an average time, he completed the marathon with a lot of hard work. The spirit is admirable.
Although most people would think that only women love diamonds, Wong He said that men could love them as well. Since diamonds have very high sustainable value over time, it is worthy to buy them. "I feel that when men wear gold jewelry, it looks a bit odd. Also white gold doesn't seem to have a very good meaning. Due to the influence of Hip Hop culture, and most African American artists like to show off their 'Bling Bling,' over time I have grown to like diamonds too. Recently I bought a $30,000 (HKD) diamond bangle. My goal now is similiar to most women: earn more money so I can buy more beautiful diamonds."
The year 2002 can be said to be Wong He's turning point in life. Through Buddhism, he came to understand the value and meaning of life. Aside from working with charity organizations to help orphans, Wong He has been traveling to lands of spiritual influence, such as Nepal's Katmandu.
"Katmandu is like a smaller version of Tibet. There are many Buddhist pagodas there filled with valuable relics. As a result, I wanted to go there to see the myriad Buddhist temples."
Wong He's manifesto in life: "Don't depend on your brain to live life; using your heart to feel life is more important."
---------------------------------Part 2-------------My View-----------------------
Forget all the rumors, lets take a look at Wong He as an actor.
Performance: Acting: I cannot stress the fact that he is so talented! All of his performace including his two best series Burning Flames and A Matter of Custom, they were near perfection. From the time I first saw Burning Flames, my eyes were glued to the screen the whole series! he was so awesome! Later I saw A Matter of Custom, his character was so complex, so interesting, so awesome! His serious roles are the best!
Speech/Voice: Maybe I'm listening too closely, but when he speaks its kinda werid, I don't know how to explain it. It kinda seems like he isn't too fluent to cantonese which isn't the case as he was raised in HK. This is only the case in half the time he talks. Oh did I mention when he yells, its quite funny, but scary too... he face gets all Red. His voice is really deep too.
Crying: He is one of the few guys that can cry! I love his crying scenes so much! It is really heartfelt. I want to see him cry again!
Kissing: I don't like his mouth to mouth kissing scenes, particularly his kissing scene in A Matter of Custom with "Jacky" It was totally awkward. But his cute peck on the cheek with Jessica was cute! I just remember in Burning Flames II Wong Hei did have an actual kissing scene with Jessica! It was so cute!
Singing: I love "Love Like the Sea" after seeing AMOC, his voice is quite deep. He can control his voice well. But besides that song I haven't heard anyother songs by him.
Comedy: He can crack jokes here and there, its quite funny but I perfer him in serious roles.
The Look: Clothes: He totally rocks in a fireman suit! He also looks great in all the athletic wear.
Body: He is prob one of like two TVB actor that has a six pack! He is so athletic! so toned, yet not overly built. [I am not counting the several Mr. HK that signed with TVB]
Face: His eyes are so small! He gets made fun of often becuase of that, even in series! Anyways I like the way he smiles, it cute!
Hair: Anything but the blonde hair he had before. His hair is always "cool"
Costars: The Love: He worked best with Jessica Hsuan in both A Matter of Customs and even in brief clips in Burning Flames 2 [Always a sad ending as a couple]. Near PERFECT chemistry! They work so well together! There was so much chemistry there!
The Friends: Burning Flames was a series about friends! They all had wonderful non romantic chemistry together!
The Enemies: Hmmm...I vaugely remember the begining of Burning Flames, I believe it was Wong Hei vs. Louis. If I remember correctly they were great as eneimies!
Best of Wong He:
